About

Jacqueline trained as a professional portrait photographer with the prestigious Barret & Coe in Norwich and established Jacqueline Lygo Photography in July 2003, progressing to become a qualified licentiate member of the British Institute of Professional Photogrpahers. The keynote of the business is customer service and satisfaction - and what do those most important people have to say?

"I've had photographs taken professionally in this country and in America, but I have never been as pleased as I am with these" - Cheryl.

"Thank you for your patience with us and especially your patience and love towards our little boy" - Jayne & Graham.

"Thank you Jacqueline, we are both very pleased with and proud of our photographs" - Adam & Debbie.

"Your friendly, personal touch put us all at ease" - Tracey.

The thing that I love about being a photographer is the involvement in some of the happiest events in people's lives. Mostly people want a photographer to record the celebrations like weddings, anniversaries, births, christenings, birthdays, graduations, or just the sheer pleasure of  being part of a family and wanting to capture that time when the kids are little and cute or when they are older  before they all go off to college.  It truly is a privilege to be invited to participate in these special times and I constantly strive to adapt my style of photography to the desires and aspirations of my clients, whilst maintaining the highest professional standards.  Whether the client wants fun, relaxed, vibrant images on white backgrounds or classic portraits in elegant poses, I can provide them usually in the client's home.  Lifestyle photography is increasingly popular - it takes place in the client's home or a location of their choice, the park, the beach or perhaps a favourite walk.  The result is relaxed, natural images of children playing, the family walking together, perhaps enjoying a picnic, just doing what families do on a day out. These kind of images work well as a multi-image wall portrait or can be made into an album, of which there are some stunning  examples available.
